Blindness

The final piece of text I had to write to accompany the ‘blind’ section of my performance has been written (In a rough draft).

It is as follows:

prisoner

Blind Decisions Made

As

Divine Vison Fades

As

Blake’s Demonic Shade

Takes Shape

The Toxic Population

Seeks

To Spread Their Poison

By

Spreading Soaring Sarin

On

The Earth

A wrathful veneer which is washed down with Ethylene

Meanwhile

Lean Ethyl walks unaware of the despair

With butane in her hair

Looking for an heir to her poison air

Now the once cobalt cobbles have

Even taken to using the styling gum of the

Human race

Racing

For a place to sit

And caffeine to sip

With swollen botulinum lips

For a dim mind to be lit

As Gaia’s spirit slips

Now the desolate seraphim falls

And on the angel’s soul we build nothing

As this poem is read the performance space begins to fill with smoke/mist. It relates to the entrapment experienced in contemporary life.
